And your Rachel Carson quote reminds of an old Hallmark movie I just borrowed from the library this very week -- Pictures of Hollis Woods -- and saw for the first time. It was a real delight to see. Sissy Spacek plays an eccentric artist who becomes a foster mom to 12-year-old Hollis Woods, who is also an artist.
